Valérie Lévy-Soussan, who has run Audiolib since 2013, will be retiring on 30 September 2023. She will continue to serve in her position as usual during the transition period, working alongside Laure Saget until 30 September 2023, when Laure Saget will take over all of her responsibilities.

Audiolib is a subsidiary of Hachette Livre and Albin Michel. It has been a pioneer and the unrivalled audiobook leader in France since it was founded in 2008. With a catalogue of over 1,300 diverse, contemporary titles recognized for their remarkable artistic quality, Audiolib is widely available in bookshops as well as on all specialized digital platforms. This booming format provides alternative access to written content for a growing number of audio-readers.
Background: Laure Saget earned a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Law at the Sorbonne and began her career in 1995 as Business Affairs at Universal Music. She went on to become Head of Legal & Business Affairs at Universal Studios Channels and continued to work in television and cinema. In 2006, Laure Saget joined Lagardère Active as VP Legal & Business Affairs Programs and Content Production. Following a training course in scriptwriting at La FEMIS, Laure Saget joined Flammarion in 2011 as Head of Audiovisual as well as rights sales and partnerships in France. Since 2018, she has been in charge of audiobooks development at Madrigall, where she most notably manages Gallimard’s audiobook collection Ecoutez lire. Laure Saget was elected to serve as Chair of the audiobook commission at the SNE in March 2023, taking the reins from Valéry Lévy-Soussan, who had served as Chair since March 2019.
